Welcoming in 2019

The Firefly was having a big dinner and fireworks celebration to ring in the New Year.  They invited us down to just have a drink and let the kids see the fireworks. It was awesome.  It was the most perfect end to 2018.  We walked down in our party outfits, ready to bid farewell to 2018 in style.  Con and I had a cocktail and we brought "kid champagne" for the kiddos.  We gave hugs to the sweet owners, relaxed on the deck, watched an awesome and up close display of fireworks, and we had three happy and tired kids in bed by 9:15. Wahoo! Happy New Year!

Christmas Break

Our little Woody is healing through art.  Lots of pictures of Penny and of rainbows.

This little girl is keeping us all smiling

I'm not sure if the hose is on, but if it is, Frances is about to get it in the face.

The kids have been wanting to climb this sea almond tree for ages but we keep telling them she needs to grow stronger first.  We tested her out this past weekend.  She seems ready to be a climbing tree and the kids are loving it.

Frances was very distressed and frantically calling my name and I looked over to see her like this.  I am pretty sure if she stretched her legs down straight she could touch.
