Family

My family came to visit and it was just wonderful.  However, when we are all together it is painfully more obvious that we are missing a member.  A tall, handsome, young, fun, up-for anything, up beat, smiley, thinks everything we are doing is awesome member.  Honestly, the planning I was doing in preparation for my family's arrival was much more emotional than them actually being here without Michael.  All the activities I kept thinking about, I just kept picturing Michael with us.  Not in a spiritual way but in an actual way.  I had to painfully keep reminding myself that he was not coming.  It was hard and sad but we are strong and we are stronger together.  It is good to remember and talk about Michael and what he would like and what he would think was extra awesome.  But it is also good, and important, to be mindfully present.  We, of course, missed Michael but we also had a blast together.  We swam in the ocean, we played games and went on hikes and out on the boat and ate awesome food and laughed and enjoyed each other.
We were happy and together.

Sandy Girls

Woody just loved sweet Maggie.  He wanted to hold her all the time and she just patiently let him.
