We celebrated all week for Elwood's 3rd Birthday
At the beginning of the week Elwood met some friends at the "Pony Express"
It was a morning of straight up Cowboy Stuff
Nice purple unicorn and bright pink gun, boys |
He's got his Momma's mad hula hoop skills |
For a kid who has never played with a toy gun before, he sure was a straight shooter.
A few days later, we met another birthday gal at the beach
We brought the boogie board, but it saw more sand dune time than wave time
Happy Birthday, Oma! |
Birthday Snack at School
St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday
This was Woody's first parade but not Liams. He grabbed Woody's hand and brought him right to the edge of the crowds and showed him how to wave to get all the best candy. Woody caught on quick. |
Dinner with Buds
Birthday Sunrise
Followed by a skateboard to our favorite smoothie place
Conor and I decided to have a family day for Woody's birthday. We did all the things he loves to do. Beach, bacon breakfast, skateboards, a few new toys, playing, wrestling, tickling, giggling, silliness all day. At the end of the day we asked if he had a fun birthday and he said yeah and then asked when he was going to his party. Ummm, we are the party pal. I was sad that he felt he was missing out on the "party" part until we started talking some more and I realized what he wanted was a cake, with candles and us singing Happy Birthday to him. Done buddy.
Happy Birthday, My love.
