Too many pictures

Too many fantastic pictures to just let disappear when my phone inevitably gets destroyed.  I had to post them, even if they're 6 months old.

 I mean this one:
Come on.

Or this cutie:

Back in November/December we had no electricity so we carried our water up to the house for dishes, drinking, bathing, toilet flushing, etc.

My little man pulling his weight.

Helping get the beers cold for some of Conor's buddies to visit.
Perhaps if we have enough beer they won't notice that we don't have electricity. . .

These boys were the most wonderful and FUN visitors ever.

Best Buds

Mid November we started seeing "angry baby face" which is one of my favorite baby milestones.  It cracks me up.

"What? What's so funny Mom?" Why so many photos of my concentration face???"

Those thighs! Those dimples!

Because Woody is such a good "sharer" Tohi has already had sips of juice from Woody's juice boxes and she LOVES it.  She gets all excited when she sees Woody with a juice box, yelling at him and trying to grab the box.  He is always so sweet and gives her as many sips as she wants.  The girl has figured out how to chug through a straw real quick.

Helping Mom in the kitchen

the house has no furniture besides our air mattresses.
Just two guys relaxing on the "couch"

Figuring out the best spots to start our garden

Tohi is still an extremely challenging sleeper but when she does finally go to sleep she looks so adorable I can almost forget that it took me two hours of bum patting to get her this way.

Thanksgiving dinner consisting of lion and candy

Fort Building can be exhausting

When you don't sleep all night, sometimes mornings can be a little rough

Being safely contained in a completely un-child proofed house has never looked so FUN!

Woody's buddies at swim lessons
Luke, Wood Man, Nina

Tohi feeling the hum of the refrigerator
Electricity feels good, girl.

Woody loves to help when I'm using the pressure washer.  I get it. It's awesome.

Our sweet little Christmas lights

Right before Christmas Tohi and I made a girl trip to David to shop in stores with all the plastic magical crap we could find

Just two girlfriends giggling in our hotel room

Tohi was a hit in David.  She's so blond and chubby, the ladies just LOVE her.  This picture is a rare moment where a random latina lady has not scooped her up the moment I put her down.  In the stores, sometimes the workers would come over and ask to hold her while I shopped.

Conor caught Tohi waving at her new friend. . .

Some air shots with the pressure washer.

Trying out the new steps

Woody asked if we could put Tohi's hair up

She is just SO sad over Dad's broken board

We have electricity but a piece of the dryer needs to be changed and the piece we ordered from the USA to fix the dryer is for USA dryers only not dryers made in Mexico that live in Panama. So, we've ordered the more international part.  This is pretty standard operation on how anything gets done here.  Slow. Very f'ing slow.

Two dudes, ringing in the new year while listening to some live music

Bienvenido 2016

Woody saw this picture said "That's the most powerful man in the universe."
(we watch a lot of He-man on netflix)

Gasp! The start of some furniture!

Stripping the katuk plants to ready them to be planted in our garden

oiling the floors

Our neighbor, The Sloth

This shiny fire breathing beast arrived.
My culinary skills have instantly improved

Some furniture, a stove, cabinets?!?!
This place is feeling homey

Tohi loves the feel of a power tool

First order of business with our oven?
Cookies, of course.

The best part of a rainy day?
Enough water for a bath!

Woody's first viewing of the best movie ever

Rainy days
Baths, Movies, Cozy Naps

Well, one kid got the "rainy day nap" message

Our septic tank imploded.  Imploded.  I didn't even know that was fucking possible.

Miss wakes up every hour and a half is ready to get the ingredients out for pancakes at 5 in the morning. Seriously??

They're hearts.  Obviously.

My Valentines

Siliconing the floors.
This was a kids in bed, parents drink beers
