The only negative of the lifestyle that Conor and I have chosen is we miss our family and friends.
I am being honest, that is really the only downfall I can think of. To only have one negative aspect of our lifestyle is amazing and we feel fortunate and so happy to be living our lives surrounding by such positive energies, however this one aspect is a big one. It feels so good to be home. To hug everyone and see their beautiful smiles and meet the new children that have been born and to hear the laughter of our families fills my heart with such joy and love it almost hurts. Splitting time between two wonderful families has always been hard, it isn't any easier when we have been gone for awhile. We decided to do Thanksgiving with my family and Christmas with Con's, with a little bit of Conor working and Meg trying not to spend money thrown in the middle.

The theme of Thanksgiving was "Taking It Up a Notch" which means instead of making boring, expected green bean casserole, I made green bean and fried onion bundles wrapped in thick cut applewood smoked bacon drizzled in a shallot butter balsamic reduction. It was a hit! |
