Kid Fort

The swell has been really big lately so there has been less swimming and more playing in the front yard.  The ocean swell brings in lots of trash. . . and treasures! We clean up the trash and save all the wood for fun projects. We decided we would use all the wood the waves are washing up to build a kid fort!

giving Bubby a hug

we had some "kid champagne" left over from New Years Eve. What better time to break out the bubbly than on the deck of your new kid fort.  Cheers!
*please note baby Frances chug-a-lugging her drink. haha!

ending a day of big projects relaxing by the fire

the kids "cleaned up" all the loose palm fronds and turned them into "sparkles."  The danger is at least half of the fun.
