Last Day of School

Elwood ended at school a month early but I got to experience one last beyond adorable show for the parents.  Woody is so cute, he knows all the hand gestures and he sings loud and clear and always claps at the end.  Each child is so adorable in their own way, every person in the audience is grinning from ear to ear as we listen to songs about rainbows and love. It's funny to watch all the kids, some are searching for their parents the whole time and then waving and smiling at them, some kids are standing there stone faced, others are goofing around with the kid next to them.

Woody is giving his full attention to his teacher crouched in front of the students, prepping them with the correct hand gestures and words to the songs.  He sings and smiles and claps for himself and his peers after they are done and then his focus is on his teacher, ready to participate in the next song.  I just love watching him.

Without a doubt, Elwood has a best friend.  And they have been besties since they were babies.  Even the teachers comment on how adorable, and uncommon at this age, their close friendship is on the playground.  Woody sure is going to miss his buddy, Lochlan.

Elwood first school experience was the most positive, loving, educational, and fun year!
