"See you in Panama, Dad!"

Conor moved me and the kids into my parents house prior to him leaving for Panama.  We needed to wait for Tohi's passport and give her a few more weeks to get a bit sturdier.

We hugged and kissed our Dad and while he drove away, waving and blowing kisses out the window, Woody and me yelled,
"See you in Panama, Dad!"

That was an emotional sentence for me.  Granted, I was a bit emotional already saying bye to Conor, even if it is only for a month.  But, See you in Panama, Dad.  The next time we will see you will be in Panama, where we will have moved to, where we will now live.  It's finally arrived.  What we have been wanting and planning for, is here.  Our whole family, including the two furry members, would be living in Panama together in one month.  This was the goal, we have been saving and planning and thinking about this end goal for the last few years and here it is. A month away.  For Conor, days away.  A big move, lots of documents and stamps and papers and planning.  Lots of good byes to family and friends that we love.  Lots of emotions.  As hard as it is to say good bye to family that was just a drive away from our house in Melbourne, it feels so good to say,
"See you in Panama, Dad."
A simple life, a life of more togetherness, a life of less stress, less money, less stuff, less comfort, and we hope more satisfaction, more joys, more memories of watching our family grow together.  It's what we want for our family.  Well, it's what we think we want.  We will find out in a month!
See you in Panama, Dad!

Some last cuddles with his girl

Dad and his biggest fan.  They are going to miss each other.  A month is a long time for a three year old.  He has trouble with the three second count down, let alone a 30 day one.
