Well, it wasn't exactly an excursion . . , but it was Sunday.
On a misty Sunday morning we walked to the top of our property. We talked about where we want to put some paths, good places to plant our vegetables, spots to build cabins. We talked about our home and we marveled at the lush jungle that we were walking/slipping through to get to the top of our half acre of paradise.
