We went out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and the kids' pancakes came with individual bottles of syrup.  Soooo, we let all of them take a sip out of the bottle.  Come on, its a birthday!

Woody saw Matty Matheson drink out of a bottle of syrup on a cooking video we were watching and he was shocked! Since that time, drinking syrup out of the bottle has been a dream of his.  Haha!
 dream do come true haha!

After breakfast we headed to an interactive children's museum in Jenson Beach.  It was super fun and just the right age for our big girl!

Frances and Woody had fun but Tohi was really the perfect age for the museum activities 

After lots of play with Woody and Tohi in the museum and then on the playground, Frances found a quiet place to eat her apple and gaze out at the ocean while contemplating the next year ahead of her.  haha
Or, sometimes you just need some space.

I have a hard time with dye.  I just think its unnecessary and unhealthy but. . . I get it, the colors are so fun and festive and my kids love all the things with all the dye. However, I made Frances's beautiful pink icing with natural juice from raspberries and I thought it tasted amazing but I could tell if she could put into words what tasted different about the icing. . . it was missing the delicious red #40.  Whatever
